| Barry Sharman Caravans is a long established company, founded in 1971 by Barry himself, and carried on since 1995 by his son, Paul Sharman.
The current showground has been situated on the Colchester bypass (A 1214) site, opposite the Royal George, for the past 25 years and a range of between 25 and 35 choice caravans are always on display. | | |

| In recent years the caravanning season has extended to an all year round leisure activity, and in fact, the showground is open every day of the year, including Bank Holidays.
